Roadmap briefing is an Agile ceremony that happens typically anywhere between once in a quarter to once a year. Here the Product Management briefs the entire organization on what is the roadmap that is planned for the year ahead. Keep in mind it is this road map that gets translated into requirements that get arranged into Backlog
A roadmap for a product is a plan for how your product is going to meet a set of business objectives. It details the direction of your product and the work that is required to get there. Here is an example of a roadmap that is being tracked in the middle of the year. Defining a roadmap beforehand helps the Product Management in assessing where we stand currently with respect to what was actually planned.
