- No open bugs in the application (High and Medium severity/priority)

- All test cases have been closed
- Story has been closed by Product Owner
- No open bugs in the story (High and Medium severity/priority)
Release (Example)
- Code has been deployed successfully in all intended environment(s)
- All BVT test cases have passed in production
Definition of Ready
Definition of Ready can be defined for and not limited to the following
- Sprint
- Story
- Release
Sprint (Example)
- Sprint Planning Completed
- Stories are pulled into Sprint backlog as per capacity
- Stories have tasks created under them with original estimate
Story (Example)
- No functional or technical ambiguity exists on the story
- Story is well defined as per agreed notation
Release (Example)
- No code freeze violation
- No open bugs in the application (High and Medium severity/priority)
- All regression test cases have passed
- All feature test cases have passed
- All performance/security test cases have passed
- Code quality and test coverage are as per agreed standards
